Conference Details

Program Agenda

Review the full conference agenda, session times, speakers, tracks, room assignments, and session descriptions in Cvent.

Attendees should review the agenda in advance and select their sessions before arriving in San Diego.

Continuing Education

ASHA CEU information, completion requirements, and eligible session details are available for attendees.

Welcome Reception at the San Diego Scottish Rite

Join us Wednesday evening at the San Diego Scottish Rite for our conference welcome reception and a tour of the RiteCare Childhood Language Center of San Diego.

Light hors d'oeuvres will be served during the reception.

 

Please note that dinner will not be provided.

Complimentary transportation will be provided from The Westin San Diego Bayview.

Hotel departures: 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
Return departures: 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Explore optional travel experiences and San Diego activities before, during, or after the conference.

What You Need to Know

    OPAL Foyer - Floor 2

    Please pick up your conference badge before attending sessions. Your badge should be worn throughout the conference and will be used for session attendance tracking.

  • Keep Your Badge With You

    Your conference badge is required for admission to conference sessions and activities.

    The QR code printed on your badge will be used to scan attendance as you enter and leave eligible sessions. Please do not exchange badges or use another attendee’s badge.

    For attendees seeking ASHA CEUs, accurate session attendance tracking is required.

  • Scan In and Out of Sessions

    Attendees seeking ASHA CEUs must attend at least one full eligible session and complete the required self-assessment/workshop evaluation.

    Please scan your badge when entering and leaving sessions so your attendance can be properly recorded.

    Speaker financial and non-financial disclosures are available with individual session descriptions in the conference agenda.

  • Conference Presentation Resources

    Following the conference, we plan to make approved presenter slides available to attendees as a compiled digital resource.

    Only presentation slides authorized by the presenters will be included. Speaker notes will not be published.

  • Questions During the Conference?

    Foundation staff will be available at the conference registration area to assist with check-in, session questions, accessibility needs, and general conference information.

    Visit the registration desk for assistance.

Meals & Hospitality

Breakfast:

Breakfast will be provided on the Pool Deck and in the Pearl room on Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Thursday Keynote Lunch

On Thursday, attendees will gather on the Pool Deck for lunch and hear from keynote speaker Dr. Tommie Robinson, PhD, CCC-SLP, from Children’s National in Washington, D.C.

Friday Boxed Lunch

At the conclusion of the conference on Friday, boxed lunches will be available for attendees to take with them as they depart or continue exploring San Diego.

To earn ASHA CEUs:

  • Attend at least one full eligible session.

  • Complete the required attendance process.

  • Complete the self-assessment / workshop evaluation sent to you at the end of the conference.

  • Reflect on the learner outcomes of the session.

Your conference badge is required for session attendance tracking.

The participating Valleys of California are helping offset conference expenses, including audio/visual services and food and beverage costs.
