The California Scottish Rite Foundation gratefully acknowledges the San Diego County Employees’ Charitable Organization for their generous $1,000 grant award. This support has made a significant impact on our ability to serve children with speech-language needs. Thanks to their contribution, we have acquired new iPads for our RiteCare Childhood Language Center of San Diego.

Enhanced Services with Technology

These new devices enhance both in-clinic and teletherapy services for children requiring speech-language therapy. At our San Diego center, we strive to provide free, high-quality therapy to young learners across a wide spectrum of communication challenges.

Interactive Learning Experiences

Integrating iPads into our program allows our certified speech-language pathologists to utilize interactive apps and digital tools. This approach makes therapy sessions not only engaging but also accessible. For instance, we use iPads for articulation exercises, language-building games, and social skills activities.

Using these devices, children can practice and track their progress in real time. This is beneficial for both in-clinic sessions and remote participation. The incorporation of technology transforms traditional methods into dynamic learning experiences.
